Dancing Mind Yoga is about power—your power!
We teach Power Vinyasa based on the Baptiste style of yoga, and all of our teachers are in on-going training with Mr. Baron Baptiste, founder of Baptiste Yoga. This is an empowering flowing class that is sure to challenge you, yet modifications are always an option for less intensity.
Our practice will push your boundaries, and will always challenge and surprise you. After all, this is not just yoga; this is power yoga with all the benefits it gives you: power, focus, flexibility, inner awareness, honesty, commitment to yourself, passion, peace of mind, and silence.
We practice in a warm room kept at 90-95°F. Heat is healing and a huge part of our process is detoxification. Practicing in a warm room is also safer as muscles and joints become suppler. The heat may seem intense at first, but after a couple of classes, you’ll never want to practice in a cool room again.
At Dancing Mind you will learn how to breathe; you will sweat, build strength and stamina, increase endurance, release tension, and create more flexibility in the entire body—and more importantly—the mind. After the end of each class you will leave feeling empowered, strong, and calm, with a fresher and brighter view of who you are.
