I came to my first class at Dancing Mind Yoga when a good friend suggested doing something new. I said yes because I was at the end of my rope with migraines and muscle spasms; I had already tried all the normal treatments – drugs, acupuncture, massages, and electro-therapy and figured that I might as well try something else.
After six months of practicing at Dancing Mind, all the physical symptoms went away and, more importantly, the mental symptoms of stress and negative cognitions decreased as well.
Yoga centers me – my mat is a place of rest and concentration that extends to the rest of my life. I like to welcome people to their mat. I hope they find the same peace that I do when I arrive to the studio.
